Elastic sealing agent

RE-3000 is a product made of epoxy resin as main component. Lt can be used for joint part with crack of concrete structure with vibration as it has elasticity (plasticity) after hardening. Lt is the product applied to injection method to inject the agent to the place which is hard to work with V-cutting or U-cutting by grinder. Lt has excellent adhesive power and elasticity after hardening.

How to use

lt should be used with after mixing resin with hardener with correct mixture ratio as it is two liquids phase. Pot life may be vary from temperature and the amount of mixture. Lt the amount of mixture is large or the temperature of the place is high, pot life and hardening time becomes fast. lf possible, use small amount of resin and hardener when injecting with structural injector or single liquid phase grouting injection pump (SGI-100, SGI-200) and use the mixture as soon as possible without delay. Particularly, make a mixture in small amount for injection in summer and increase the temperature of the resin in winter. inject the agent into V- cutting or U-cutting part with stirring after weighing the resin and hardener correctly (resin 1kg and hardener 0.5kg) (refer to injection method).

Equipment, instrument and cleaning agent

Use iron hera or rubber hera in sealing work. Clean the equipment or tools used immediately after working with toluene, acetone, MEK or epoxy thinner.

Precautions

1. Please wear proper safety equipments including helmet, protective glasses, gloves and working cloths when handling the agent.
2. Wipe out immediately and wash with soaping water when skin is stained with the agent.
3. Please show a doctor if there is eruption of skin by staining with the agent.
4. Install a ventilator at working place to get fresh air.
5. Keep correct mix ration when mixing resin and hardener in case of two component type grouter.
6. Clean out instruments or equipment used for working with thinner etc.
7. Mix smaller amount of resin in summer as pot life, drying time, hardening time of epoxy resin may differ by temperature or mixing amount. increase the temperature of resin in winter season. Pot life : Time period of work with the mixture of resin and hardener.
   Drying time : Time period from the property of mixed resin begins to change to the time of hardening . After this time, we can not work with the mixture.
   Hardening time : The time to get mechanical strength as the agent hardens completely( it should be at least 7 days and final strength can be measured at this time).
8. Do not use if it is below than 5℃ except unavoidable situation.
9. Please refer to MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) for proper handling.

How to keep

Keep it dry and cool place without moisture after sealing the cover to prevent contacting with the air. Proper keeping temperature is 15~30℃ Keeping period of the liquid is 6 months. However, use the agent as soon as possible as it may deteriorate by keeping condition.
